Welcome to Little Diggers Preschool. We are a unique centre in the heart of Collaroy Plateau, located in the picturesque grounds of the RSL ANZAC Village (The “War Vets”). Little Diggers is a 56 place Long Day Care Preschool catering for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. At our centre we believe in the importance of play, and in engaging our children in learning through our guided discovery. We believe in observing what the children are interested in, and then bringing their interests to developmentally appropriate activities.

Our curriculum is designed to support the whole child's growth, and as teachers we design an enriched environment in which the child can explore. As the child explores the environment and activities provided, the teacher acts as a guide and asks open-ended questions to encourage the child to think through the process as he or she comes to an conclusion. Every child is a scientist ready to explore, and we are here to help foster their curiosity!
